The challange
For over a century, scrap metal dealers have worked on a person-to person basis, agreeing prices based on local knowledge and market pricing. Scrapbays had created an app that would connect buyers and sellers, opening up a huge number of potential traders with better prices and a greater range of bidders. They wanted a campaign that would encourage the download and sell all of its benefits to the audience.

The idea
Using the voice of actor Perry Benson, we created a CGI robot called Scrapbot - A memorable brand icon acting as a digital spokesperson, educator and the animated embodiment of the industry. In his own unique and quirky way, he would come to life on the app, website, social and film.
